What it is about
Under what conditions?
Over the network, but only with valid access (login required), for example with stolen credentials or as an insider.
What can happen in the worst case
An attacker could use the vulnerability to
- Dateien zu manipulieren
- beliebigen Code auszuführen
Am I affected?
Affected according to the BSI:
- Microsoft GitHub Enterprise Server <3.14.24
- Microsoft GitHub Enterprise Server <3.15.19
- Microsoft GitHub Enterprise Server <3.16.15
- Microsoft GitHub Enterprise Server <3.17.12
- Microsoft GitHub Enterprise Server <3.18.6
- Microsoft GitHub Enterprise Server <3.19.3

What helps?

- Microsoft GitHub Enterprise Server 3.14.24
- Microsoft GitHub Enterprise Server 3.15.19
- Microsoft GitHub Enterprise Server 3.16.15
- Microsoft GitHub Enterprise Server 3.17.12
- Microsoft GitHub Enterprise Server 3.18.6
- Microsoft GitHub Enterprise Server 3.19.3

None of the CVEs is in the CISA catalogue of exploited vulnerabilities. That does not mean there are no attacks, only that none are documented.
