MISP ist eine Open-Source-Plattform für den Informationsaustausch über Bedrohungen. Ein Angreifer kann mehrere Schwachstellen in MISP ausnutzen, um erweiterte Berechtigungen zu erlangen, Sicherheitsmaßnahmen zu umgehen, Daten zu manipulieren und offenzulegen, beliebigen Code auszuführen und Benutzer auf bösartige URLs umzuleiten.
